Why Strength Training During Pregnancy?
Pregnancy is one of the most transformative times in a woman’s life—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Staying active with safe, guided strength training can help you feel stronger, more confident, and better prepared for childbirth and postpartum recovery.
The Benefits Are Remarkable:
Healthier Outcomes for Both Mom and Baby – Regular exercise is linked to improved pregnancy and birth outcomes.
Improved Physical Fitness – Maintain or even build strength and endurance to support your changing body.
Boosted Mental Health – Exercise has been shown to ease antenatal and postnatal depression, helping you feel more balanced.
Reduced Risks – Lower your risk of gestational diabetes, hypertensive disorders, and cesarean delivery.
Healthy Weight Management – Helps minimize excess maternal weight gain.
No Harm to Baby’s Birth Weight – Research shows exercise does not negatively impact birth weight, a key predictor of neonatal health.
Better Placental Health – Improved vascular function means better blood flow and nutrients to your growing baby.
